Most homeowners don’t want to think about their pool — they want to walk outside and swim. That’s what weekly service buys you. Golden Poolscapes services pools across the Birmingham area on a fixed weekly schedule, and you don’t need to be home for us to do our job.

What’s Included Every Visit

Surface Skimming and Debris Removal

Leaves, pollen, insects, and anything else the week blew in. In spring, Alabama pollen alone can choke a pool in a matter of days, so this is not a token pass with a net.

Brushing Walls, Steps, and Waterline

Algae takes hold on surfaces before it ever clouds the water. Weekly brushing of walls, steps, benches, and the waterline tile is what keeps it from establishing in the first place.

Vacuuming

Settled dirt and silt get vacuumed off the floor. If you have a robotic cleaner, we work around it and cover what it misses — corners, steps, and dead spots.

Emptying Skimmer and Pump Baskets

Full baskets starve the pump, which is one of the most common causes of premature pump failure. We empty them every visit and flag anything unusual we pull out.

Water Chemistry Testing and Balancing

Chlorine, pH, alkalinity, cyanuric acid, and calcium hardness tested and adjusted on the spot, so the water is corrected while we’re standing there rather than left to drift another week.

Equipment Check

A quick look at the pump, filter pressure, heater, and automation. Catching a climbing filter pressure or a weeping seal early is the difference between a small fix and a large one.

How Weekly Service Works

You get a set service day and the same technician each week, so someone who actually knows your pool is the one looking at it. After every visit you receive a service report showing chemical readings, what was performed, and anything we noticed that needs attention.

Repairs and specialty work are always explained and approved by you before anything happens. We don’t perform work you didn’t agree to.

Do You Need Weekly or Bi-Weekly?

During Alabama’s swim season, most pools genuinely need weekly attention. Heat, heavy use, thunderstorms, and pollen move water chemistry faster than a two-week interval can keep up with, and correcting a neglected pool takes considerably more time and product than maintaining a healthy one.

Bi-weekly can work for lightly used pools in the cooler months, and we’re happy to tell you honestly which one your pool needs rather than defaulting you to the heavier plan.

Get Started With Weekly Service

Send us your pool’s approximate size, surface type, and equipment, and we’ll put together a service plan that matches how you use it.
